UPDATE February 25, 2024: We had a bit of unpleasant drama surface on FB, and even had a (self-proclaimed) copyright lawyer advise us that any model horse show card with a photo, sold to the public, could potentially infringe on copyright, unless every single horse owner and every single photographer used were contacted and received written permission for use. Even though we have scrupulously taken care never to use anything that was copyrighted.... And we have done complete deep-dive image searches for every uncopyrighted photo found on the open public internet that we used, and we researched and credited every single source we did find, this proposed additional practice is not possible. Plus, we already were not making any profit doing these cards, because whether it is realized or not, to find the right breed or type of horse, in the right color, and represented with a pretty horse and in a good photo, takes a LOT of time. Until now, this was a fun hobby for us that was interesting and helpful to others, but it was not done for profits, as the proceeds often did not cover our supplies & postage, let along time. Since things have taken this turn, and show cards without photos would be defeating their purpose, we will no longer offer show cards for sale to the public. We apologize for any inconvenience.
